The International Tourism and Leisure Fair in Wrocław this weekend

Another, 13. The edition of the International Tourism and Leisure Fair will be held on 4-6 March after a two-year break. 150 exhibitors will present themselves in the fair and conference part of Tarczyński Arena Wrocław.

The Travelers’ Festival, the Culinary Festival, famous travelers and industry meetings are just a few of the attractions prepared by the event organizers. Representatives of Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Adjara and Lithuania will also appear at the Wrocław fair. Bulgaria is the partner country.

Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesia Voivodship, said: “We cordially invite all enthusiasts of travel and lovers of world cultures. At the stand of Lower Silesia you will find not only the wonderful, most popular attractions of the region, but also those less known, not yet fully discovered gems, with their attractiveness not surpassing many already known attractions. An astrotourist journey to observe the dark sky, a trip along the trail of Lower Silesian vineyards and breweries, a journey through mysterious undergrounds, attractive bicycle routes, a choice of numerous culinary destinations, or an escape into nature, where you can experience the soothing of the senses and enter the rhythm of slow motion. Our unique region offers you all this. On behalf of the provincial government, we cordially invite you to the International Tourism and Leisure Fair in Wrocław and, of course, to discover Lower Silesia.”

This year’s event will bring together over a hundred exhibitors’ stands, who will encourage them to discover unique places. The Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesia Voivodship is once again acting as a co-organizer of MTT Wrocław.

Krzysztof Maj, Member of the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, emphasized: “Regions and partner countries will appear at the fair. We are pleased to host representatives of the Czech Republic from the Kralovohradec, Liberec, Central Bohemia and Pardubice regions. The Macedonian Ambassador, J.E Ilija Psaltirov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Poland: HE Margarita Ganeva. Among the attractions, there will be two unique presentations about the region, which were previously presented at the EXPO World Exhibition in Dubai and at the Economic Forum in Karpacz. One of them shows the richness of the region, its resources, including.in. monuments, health resorts, national parks, as well as the economic potential of Lower Silesia. The second, under the slogan “Water. Piece. Tajemnica ”, promotes Poland and the Lower Silesia region through the prism of water. On the interactive steam screen we will be able to present the most interesting corners of our region.”

Travelers’ Festival

This year, at the Travelers’ Festival, guests will be able to “visit” colorful India, cross the frosty Arctic with a dog, climb the highest peaks in the world, move to the paradise island of Bali and green New Zealand, get to know undiscovered Macedonia and go on a trip around Poland.

Piotr Czyszpak, traveler, blogger and tour leader, speaker at the Travelers’ Festival, noted: “Traveling around Poland has recently become very popular. Closed borders, difficult entry procedures to other countries and uncertainty made the eyes of Poles turn to our tourist backyard. It turns out that we have a lot of attractions right behind the copper plateau! We have the sea, lakes, national parks and of course beautiful mountains! I will tell you about the latter during my presentation “Colors of Happiness, or the Polish trail with Mr. Szpak”, because there are plenty of ideas for mountain activities, you just need to move. The “Crystal of Tourism” award in four categories

The International Tourism and Leisure Fair is a great opportunity to distinguish and reward exceptional projects, and there is no shortage of creativity in the tourism industry! For several years we have been awarding “Crystal Eagles” and this year we have also prepared something special. During this year’s fair, we will award prizes under the changed name & # 8211; “Crystal of Tourism”. The competition categories are: a regional product, a tourist attraction, a cyclical event related to tourism or a tourist product, and tourist activities increasing environmental awareness. Friday is a trade day

At the International Trade Fair of Tourism and Time to visit the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław on the first day of the fair, the tourism industry is particularly encouraged, which, after registering on the website, will be able to participate in the event for free. Tomasz Garpiel, president of the board of the Polska Górom Foundation, emphasized: “The mission of the Polska Górom Foundation! is to popularize mountain tourism, ecology and increase the awareness of Polish tourists. We want to reach people by organizing nature workshops or trips. Additionally, we decided to create two innovative applications. The first of them & # 8220; Tropimy & # 8221; is a platform for field games, thanks to which the participant moves into the world of adventure. The basic tool is an ordinary smartphone with internet access. The participant has a great time, spends time actively and learns interesting things about the place where the game takes place! The second application is “Sweep the Trash”, which is our idea for clean trails! With this application, we encourage people to collect garbage on mountain trails, and the partners of the campaign reward active participants.”.

A paradise for children

The Wrocław fair has not yet experienced such an amount of attractions for children! The youngest are welcome and they will certainly not be bored, because they will have a festival of surprises waiting for them, such as: Kolejkowo, the largest railway model in Poland, Foliba Music and their colorful drums from various parts of Africa, Hydropolis and spectacular water experiences, Movie Gate, along with characters from films and original exhibits and props from the most famous productions, the Center for Regional and Natural Education in Mniszki will invite children to a wicker, carpenter, candlestick and potter to try their hand at handicrafts, and the Geopark Kraina Zagasanego Volcanoes will prepare workshops and laboratories. scientific and stories about volcanoes and phenomena on our planet.
