The Foundation “Hotele dla Medyków” donated 100 thousand. PLN for the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw for the fight against COVID-19. Thanks to these funds, the hospital will finance the purchase of neurosurgical tools.
Gheorghe Marian Cristescu, president of the “Hotele dla Medyków” Foundation and president of the board of Polski Holding Hotelowy, said: “Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the” Hotele dla Medyków “Foundation has already allocated over PLN 1.5 million to prevent, counter and combat COVID-19. This time, a donation of PLN 100,000. PLN went to the hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw. We hope that the funds allocated to co-financing the purchase of neurosurgical tools will contribute to an even more effective fight against the effects of the pandemic.”
Marcin Mazurek, a member of the board of the “Hotele dla Medyków” Foundation and the president of the board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości, added: “The commitment of the foundation in the fight against COVID-19 proves that. in. transfer of further funds to the hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw. In May 2021. the hospital has already received 100,000. PLN from the foundation to co-finance the purchase of an outgoing ambulance ECMO. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been actively involved in providing relief to those affected by the coronavirus. Although the number of infected people is decreasing, many people are still struggling with the effects of the disease. We hope that the funds allocated for further treatment will help you recover faster.”
Prof. dr hab. n. med. Waldemar Wierzba, director of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw, emphasized: “The donation of the” Hotels for Medics “Foundation will allow us to purchase modern equipment for the Department of Neurosurgery of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, where we treat patients in conditions of immediate life threat. It is extremely important for doctors to be able to use the highest-class surgical instruments and to help as many patients as possible. The role of treatment specializations is invaluable. And it is especially noticeable in the difficult time we are experiencing right now. Thank you.”
