Pieniny SPA Resort Group, which includes facilities located in Szczawnica. m.in. Park Hotel Modrzewie & SPA, actively joined in helping Ukrainian citizens staying in Szczawnica.

There are currently about 500 people from Ukraine running away from the war in Szczawnica. They are mainly mothers with children.

In the Szczawnica – Dworek Goscinny Congress Center and the Jazz Bar restaurant located there, every Friday afternoon, fairy tales screenings for children are organized with tea and homemade cookies – this idea was created so that children from Ukraine staying in Szczawnica could find a place where they can get to know each other, exchange friends and spend time together.
